Why not? Sounds good to me.
That said, I do find that the addition of "I'll pick up the brie, the Fox Creek Vixen red bubbles and the Valrhona chocky on the way home" does tend to enhance any conversation.
Can you believe the child forgets to wake his mother at 8?
